INTEGRATION OF FAITH AND LEARNING
The integration of faith and learning for this learning agreement occurs in several ways. First, as you read through the Bible, you will see how the patriarchs and the Kings of Israel had diverse leadership styles in leading and managing their people, the nation of Israel, and family. They faced the same administrative and leadership issues, as you will in your current organization and family. Second, conflict and negotiation has its origins in scriptures on the doctrines of forgiveness. Third, motivation and meeting human needs is seen in the ministry of Jesus Christ. As the true servant leader, Jesus gives us profound examples on how we should treat our staff, family and friends. Students conduct a leadership interview, and one of the objectives is to discover how one’s Christian faith influences leadership. A research project is also within the course allowing the opportunity to conduct research on integrating faith with leadership.
