COURSE DESCRIPTION
A basic course for pastors. This course looks at the pastor's call, his work in the church and his personal life. Particular emphasis is given to the pastor's study and pulpit ministry.
LEARNING RESULTS
In this course you will learn:
• To investigate the subjective and objective dimensions of the pastoral call.
• To study and learn the biblical qualifications of the elder or pastor as outlined in such texts as 1 Tim. 3.
• To interact with the private dimensions of the pastorate as they relate to the pastor, his/her partner, and family.
• To become knowledgeable regarding the pulpit duties of the contemporary pastor.
• To relate practically to authentic situations that pastors encounter within the arenas of their pulpit and private ministries. REQUIRED TEXTS AND MATERIALS

INTEGRATION OF FAITH AND LEARNING
