Transition to Teaching Program

A graduate level program designed for individuals who have a bachelor degree from an accredited institution of higher education and decide to pursue a teaching license. This online program allows for flexibility as one progresses toward state licensure.

Individuals desiring a secondary license will complete an 18-hour course of study. A secondary license is only available in the content area in which you obtained the undergraduate degree.

Those desiring an elementary license will complete a 24-hour course of study. Candidates must meet all state licensure requirements of the Indiana Department of Education. A ten-week student teaching experience is a mandatory component of either program.
