Welcome to a tour of Indiana's wetlands. This site was generated during research completed by Taylor University's Environmental Science Department. There are three different ways to discover Indiana's wetlands. One is general information that includes a plant guide, photo gallery, and background information on wetlands. The second area describes specific wetland sites visited in Indiana by the research team at Taylor University, which includes data gathered during 1998-99 field collection years. The last area is a technical guide documenting the results of the research (a guide to assessing wetlands). This approach outlines how the research team conducted the study as well as the methods of data collection. Included are manuals and field data sheets generated. It is intended for use by those interested in technical applications of wetlands study only. A manual is available for download that outlines the entire project. We hope that you enjoy discovering some of Indiana's finest natural areas. |
